With new USGA regulations on groove geometry, wedge durability is more important than ever for maintaining shot trajectory and peak spin performance. The face insert, made from an aerospace steel alloy, Carpenter 440XH, is a remarkably wear-resistant metal alloy (often used in industrial bearing assemblies and critical valve components) maintains both face friction and groove integrity far longer than conventional wedges. Each face insert is CNC precision milled for maximum USGA face texture and groove dimensions.

New for 2011 is the radical sole grind that reduces drag while increasing delicate shotmaking versatility. Classically shaped and featuring a luxurious black nickel chrome finish; Lofts available in 48, 52, 56, 60, and 64 degrees.
