The Yakima Raptor Aero Bike Rack includes all the same great features as the regular Yakima Raptor bike rack and also includes the Yakima Universal Mighty Mounts hardware for connecting the bike carrier to virtually all factory racks. The Yakima Raptor Aero is a practical and affordable solution for attaching an upright mount bike rack (no need to remove any wheels, simply load the entire bicycle onto the Raptor Aero) directly to factory rack crossbars. No additional adapters or hardware needed, Yakima Universal MightyMounts included. Works with all styles of bikes - road, mountain, women's, kids & bmx styles included - as long as the bike frame downtube is from 1" to 3" in diameter (virtually all bikes meet this measurement). Besides factory racks, this bike carrier also attaches directly to Yakima base rack crossbars, Inno Racks square bars and any Thule Racks load bars. Yakima lock core recommended to secure bicycle inside the Yakima Raptor Aero bike rack.
