World Watch is a window to international knowledge that serves as an excellent means of accurate communication throughout the world. This software will continually provide you with the exact time in any location around the world using a variety of live maps. World Watch provides features like: Atomic Clock, Alarm, local Weather, News Ticker, Satellite Tracking, as well as presenting data for corporations.

World Watch shows in a single glance the correct time in all 24 standard time zones with all 16 non-standard time zones. It illuminates parts of the world that are under daylight, and even shows current weather conditions (Internet connection required). You can customize map and clock displays, select locations to highlight from over 500 predefined cities, or define any location to get accurate, specific local information.

• Over 500 Cities- World Watch has over 500 pre-programmed Worldwide cities. You may choose any of these cities to display on your World Watch Maps & bottom Clock Bar or create your Own City Names through our "Add Custom City" feature.
• Find City Time- By right clicking your mouse anywhere on the World Watch map, you may find the time in any city. Simply type the name of the city whose time you wish to check. World Watch will instantly show you the local time for that location.
• Topographical Continent Maps- The latest World Watch versions now offer to display all maps as Topographical. Each World and Continent Map may be viewed with the geographical details, in order to provide you with a more realistic view of the world.
• Time Coordinator- A feature that is particularly useful when planning any call or conference call around the world is the Time Coordinator. This window displays the local time and the time for up to seven additional locations. When you have all of the cities included, the program will display the times in each of these cities. This option is particularly useful for planning meetings, schedules, and conference calls. With all of the Time Zones and Daylight Savings Times, it is often times difficult to coordinate an appropriate time to speak to a multiple of people at one time.
• Screen Saver- The World Watch Screen Saver is a feature that effortlessly combines with the program in which the map of the world appears after a period of inactivity on the computer. This screen saver allows the user many options, which also include detailed information about the cities of their choice.
• Satellite Images- View weather, temperature and environmental phenomena such as, El Nino. Whether you have a permanent of dial-up connection, you can access ETC's Live Satellite Images and experience "The Living Earth. Current World Watch Weather Maps include Air Temperature, Cloud Cover, Wave Height/Wind Patterns, Sea Surface Temperatures, and Topo with Clouds.
• Map Manager- We've made World Watch setup even easier! Pick cities, determine the best monitor resolution, choose fonts, sizes and color, select the Clock Bar order, and much more all in one easy-to-use application.
• Countdown Clocks- Count down to an upcoming event, meeting, favorite holiday, or any important date with Express Technologies’ Countdown Clock. You may choose up to four Display Clocks at one time, and pick a new event when each one expires. This product allows you to decide the title of the Clock, the event that will take place, and when you would like to add a new one.
• Scrolling Marquee- Get Live International News, Finance Reports, Currency, Stock Information, Sports information, and much more using the Scrolling Marquee feature of World Watch. The Scrolling Marquee application works as a news informer by scrolling information across the bottom of your screen. Customize this feature to display your own company information! • Multi Media Alarms- Play Sounds (e.g. Westminster Chimes) and Movie Clips as alarms or reminders for meetings, appointments, or the lunch hour. The World Watch Multi-Media Alarms serve as notification of such events as meetings, conferences, and phone calls. There are 4 main sections in creating a Multi-media Alarm… a. Selecting the Media/Message to display the alarm notification, b. Setting the Date/Time for each Multi-media Alarm, c. Selecting the Audio/Visual properties of your Alarm, and d. Previewing your Multi-media Alarm properties.
• Rotating Maps- Tired of looking at the same map? Try "Rotating Maps!" Choose any number of the pre-designed World Watch Maps or design your own -- then display them all at an interval of your choice. This will enhance the benefits of the program by enabling yourself to view more than 1 map at a time.
• Language- Because the knowledge of accurate time plays an important role in international communication, Express Technologies offers World Watch in a number of languages. We want this product to be useful to everyone in the world, and therefore have made World Watch available in English, Japanese, German, French, and Chinese. • Individual Map Settings- The 5.0 & 6.0 versions of World Watch for Microsoft Windows allows the user to set each map to its own specific settings resulting in Unique custom Maps. This function gives the user the availability to set such options on each individual map as: Cities, Colors, Center point of Map, Information ticker, Dynamic Map Data, and International Borders.
• News Ticker- This application works as a news informer of any information that you are interested in, by displaying and scrolling across the bottom of your screen. Through this, the user will be continually updated with International News, Finance Reports, Currency, Stock Information, Sports information, and much more. • Dynamic Map Data- This feature of the new 5.0 & 6.0 allows the user to display information at specific locations. This can include information such as end of the day Stock Information, worldwide Currency, and Weather temperatures at these specified locations.
